Grateful to be Alive

Grateful to be Alive

I had a gastric pain on Monday (12-Oct-2015)  at 7.30am. My gastric pain never recurred after quite long time.  Everytime, I had a gastric pain, I won’t be able to wake-up from my bed and all my bodies feel weak & giddy.

That morning, I also slight pressure on my chest which I thought it’s a normal whenever I had gastric. My wife gave me a gastric pain tablet and asked me to have a light breakfast & followed by lunch.  At 6.30pm, I went to Family Clinic asking for gastric medicine and MC for Monday.

To my surprise, the doctor suggested to perform ECG Test on the spot. The 1st result of ECG was showed abnormal low wave. The Doctor suggested to perform another ECG Test. Both of the results didn’t look good. He asked me to take 300mg aspirin & asked me to lay down and wait for ambulance to be taken to Yishun Hospital, as he suspected that I had a heart attack.

While waiting for paramedic to arrive, the doctor gave me an infusion & I started to find difficulties speaking and answer simple questions asked by the doctor & nurses. They kept on repeating asking for my Name, age & any family history of heart problem. At that moment, my only thought was to inform my wife & little girl to come to the clinic.

While having difficulties to talk, I managed to call my wife & ask her to come to the clinic with my daughter.

The paramedic came & the clinic’s doctor started to hand-over me to them while waiting for my family to arrive.

Side story: several years ago in Medan, my wife had a painful experience when she took her mom to a hospital for simple headache consultation. She didn’t go to medical consultation room, as she wanted to call her brother and inform everyone about her whereabout. Later the nurse told her that her mom had a heart attack & they tried to save her but was not successful.

Go back to my condition,  my wife & little girl arrived at the family clinic. Seeing me in my condition, my wife could not understand what the doctor said & my little girl had to ask the doctor how serious was my conditions & whether it’s necessary to bring ward me to hospital.

My wife told me that she wanted to leave this world earlier than me and that I should not leave earlier than her.

My wife & girl cried after the doctor explained how critical my condition was and I started to cry too. However, I realized sooner or later one will still have to die.

One of the paramedic told me only 1 person can follow me in the ambulance, Realizing both of their conditions, I asked my family to take taxi to Yishun Hospital.

Shortly after that I felt very weak & could not think clearly. The paramedic put me into ambulance and rush me to Hospital. During the journey, in order to keep me awake,  the paramedic kept on asking me few simple questions which I found hard to answers.

The ambulance arrived at Yishun Hospital and I was brought to A&E Department. The doctor & nurses put medical equipments on me to monitor my heart & BP as well as gave me another type of infusion.
The nurses also repeat the same questions as paramedic asked me. I asked the nurses to repeat the questions few times as I could not understand & hear the questions clearly. I answer the questions some correctly and some incorrectly.

To my surprise, 30 minutes after that, I started to feel fresh & calm on my heart and body. I sit on my bed in meditation position. I believe the Love of God is inside my heart & I just need to smile & be grateful of my current condition. Yes, I feel very fresh, calm & regain my consciousness.  I also started to smile to all other patients & nurses around the room.

A nurse came to check my condition. In confidence I asked the nurse what time I can be discharged. The nurse told me a doctor will review my condition and based on the test results & will decide whether I can be discharged or admitted to hospital.
My wife came to see me still with tears in her eyes. I told my wife not to worry as I feel very fresh and I believe I’m going home tonight. I also told my wife to be relax and have dinner with my little girl.

Few hours later, a doctor saw me and told me that I can be discharge & he told me there’s no solid evidence that I have heart issue. He arranged an appointment for me to see a specialist at a later date.

That night, I felt very blessed by God as I escaped a narrow death.  I went home with  my wife & my little girl who has just passed PSLE. We all prayed to thank God for my sudden improve condition. Thereafter we laughed after we discovered there were a lot of 3M plasters still sticking on my body as the nurses forgot to take it off.

Indeed without Reiki Tummo, I don’t think I know or have the courage to be relax & smile and grateful to God.

Next week, I will call my insurance agent to subscribe a life premium insurance J.
